After buying my first horse I need a while to structure my life and first was her than I. Still being her before than I. So as I schedule the time that I'm going to spend with her, I'm optimizing my time in the gym. Usually I stayed 4/5h each gym day, 4 times a week. Right now I'm spending one hour and a half, we'll see. So after a month not going to the gym, I feel really weak, I couldn't either get 20kg on my back and I got heavy laces that I couldn't walk ok for a week. Here you can see the improvement in two weeks. Right now I'm lifting 90kgx3 on squat, 57.5x3 on bench press (the one that is keeping higher) and 100x3 on deadlift.

I took my first restorative Vinyasa yoga class tonight and Iโ€™m honestly so shocked at how helpful meditation can be!  Having the mental clarity, focusing on your breath, and being in tune with your body for an hour was soooo refreshing.Canโ€™t wait to apply this to the saddle and slowly learn how to meditate while actively doing things. For those who might want to try yoga at no cost, ClassPass has a two week trial that I signed up for. I caved and got a membership on ClassPass after realizing how affordable it can be to get in a little tune up for my mind while still being active :)

I got a ClassPass trial to try out some different studios in the area, and reformer pilates is amazing ๐Ÿคฉ my first class was yesterday and I am sore! If anybody is able to try, I highly recommend since this seems like itโ€™ll be a HUGE help with riding

Thank you Jamie! I need more of these exercises in my life. Cannot believe I've never heard of the 2:1 concept before, going to apply that concept to other areas of my fitness routine. Don't mind my furry cheer leaders! ๐Ÿพ

Hello Equi collective members! I was wondering if anyone had any specific lower leg stability excerises. My lower leg is very unsteady in the Dressage. In jumping I don't have a problem. I'll try shortening my stirrups a bit in dressage but other than that I would like to do some excerises ๐Ÿ˜Š
