Where are my natural horsemanship people? The more I go down the rabbit hole, the less people I find! Apart from the couple of super famous people, I'm struggling to find any "normal" people!! Anyone on here? I would love to connect and share thoughts ❤️

If anyone else wants to show some photos they are proud of (riding, groundwork, anything), please feel free to add them! Top was last weekend, bottom photo about 8 months ago, both at shows. My mare has really improved over this timeframe and I'm so proud of her! First, the expression is happier - we've been going "out" more to build confidence and you can see it in her eyes, jaw, and having a good wet mouth. Second, her reach in front and in back is much larger - showing more freedom of gait. Third, her neck is lower and she's working over her top line better. She's a bit in front of the vertical, instead of tense. Please share some progress you are proud of too! We don't always have to make huge leaps up the levels to see real change and improvement with our horses 🤗💙

Has anybody ever tried to repair a small tear in a boot like this? Unfortunately these are my only pair and are sentimental as they were my first pair of stiff boots and first semi customs. Also really am not looking to put out for boots right now 🥴 I ordered some leather glue off amazon so hoping I can mend it myself

**How often do you shoe your horses?** Yesterday was her new shoes day. 👠 Was the first time since I have her and I didn't know how was going to react, at first she was scared but get relaxed with my voice and some sweets ☺️.
Shoes day!!

A number of Swedish riding schools have introduced weight limits for riding students. The Swedish Equestrian Federation advises riding schools against weight limits. You can look at this in several ways. The riding schools justify this by reducing the load on the horses, yes I agree. But overall, equestrian sports should be accessible to everyone regardless of how you look. I think that weight limits can cause problems in children and young people, for example, weight obsession that can lead to eating disorders. Social exclusion as the friend may be allowed to continue riding but not me. I think the riding schools will have to rethink, for example, get more weight-bearing horses. Talking about weight and how you look is something that can affect the individual badly and this should not be allowed to happen. I could write even more on this topic. I feel I want to share this with you💖
