Hello dear members!
I'm excited to celebrate my one-month anniversary as the Community Manager at PS of Sweden, overseeing Equi Collective, and I thought it's high time I introduce myself properly.
I currently reside in Stockholm, Sweden, but I'm originally from the west coast. I started riding at the age of 5 and have experienced all sorts of horses, mainly focusing on show jumping ponies. I had my first pony named Shadow and a young horse named Gangster (there was a scolding attached to the name). But my most cherished companion was Tina, with whom I built a beautiful bond during the three years we rode together. Today, she's retired and has had three foals. She's an amazing mother, and I visit her as often as I can!
Since moving to Stockholm for work and studies, horses have taken a back seat, but I dream of dedicating more time to riding soon.
I was thrilled to take on this role and feel fortunate to have landed here. Drawing from my own equestrian experience, I see a tremendous interest in building a community where we can connect, share knowledge, experiences, and support each other. There's something beautiful about coming together and having each other's backs in this fantastic, demanding, and occasionally challenging sport we dedicate our passion to.
I see so much potential for growth in this community. While my initial focus has been on creating more material and providing frequent updates to our existing channels, there's more to come!
