Motivation- Does anyone else really struggle with

Motivation- Does anyone else really struggle with motivation in the winter months with the darker nights and wet windy weather. Im really struggling to make myself ride currently. Any tips or words of wisdom for the fair weather riders amongst us?

Yes, I am a sissy when it comes to riding in the cold and dark .. I have arena lights but by the time I am finished with the " real " world , I am also ready for BED .

I live in Cape Town and we don’t get snow we just have loads of rain and everything gets wet. I hate being wet!! 😂 my horses pretty much get time off during winter because mommy melts in the rain! (But mostly because with my job I leave before the sun comes up and get home after it has gone down) because I ride less, arena work is very rare so I hack out a lot, and just have a bit of fun on the days it’s not raining
