Hey everyone! I was wondering if anyone had any tips for how to sit the trot better. It's been a pretty big battle since transitioning from bad training and horses within the 15hh range with small trots to fantastic, large, and huge moving warmbloods. As a dressage rider, knowing how to sit a great trot is super important, so it's a bit embarrassing that I struggle with it. 😅 I would absolutely love to know any and all suggestions!

So, either I am really dumb or I haven’t gotten discount codes. After reaching equestrian inspirer status I should get a 10% discount every start of month (please correct me if I am wrong) but I have gotten nothing, I have checked and checked but no.

Oh no! I'm late to the party! With my accident, I've disappeared from social media for my mental health and now I see that the lavender ruffle pad has disappeared from the web!! Is this for real? I'm devastated!!

After falling and breaking one of my helmets, I started to investigate the safest helmets to replace it. To my surprise, the safest helmets are those that have the MIPS system, which none of the most famous brand such as KEP, Samshield and LAS have. Researching a bit more, I have found MIPS inside some Charles Owen, One K, Tipperary, Uvex, Back on track. This really shocked me. Why don't the most famous brands include this? What are your thoughts? I now have a Charles Owen that I've had since February and a One K in my basket that I will be purchasing today!

Looks like there will be no lessons this week since it’ll be hotter than the sun out here in the east bay 😂 Since I don’t own or lease, would love to know what ya’ll do outside the barn to keep up with your riding education. Tonight I have pilates and I recently acquired some free tack I’m planning to restore, but I’m always looking for books, articles, etc to help absorb all that horsey info

Totally not mad but, I let my trainer use my bridle and favorite reins with a student because they fit the student and the horse better. Due to the students inexperience, unfortunately my favorite buttery soft perfect braided jump reins got broken when the horse stepped on them. Not mad, the student's learning and made a mistake. Id rather not throw them out just yet, but with about a foot of leather missing, theyll only fit a pony or mini. Any ideas on how to repurpose them? Feels a waste to just toss them. Pic of the "offending" horse looking dorky but cute in his flysheet. Ive forgiven him since both the student and I had a great ride.
Broken Rein ideas?

Hello!  I ride my boy in tendon and overreach boots (he really needs these) but I have always wondered about brushing boots and polos. What is your preference?
