I’m not sure I missed something.. but I just saw the new collection for sale at a site of a DUTCH equestrian shop. It contains the saddle pas of the secret testing weeks back. Don’t really know what to think of the early launch online, and not here at our community of the PSOS site 🤷🏼‍♀️

Hot days

We had over 37°C in the sun here in Frankfurt today😭 All I was able to do was go for a walk in the shady forest where it was slightly cooler. Nathan was already sweaty just standing in his stall. I hosed him off to cool him down after. What do you guys usually do when its too warm to ride?

Sensitive withers

How do you all manage to keep the withers free and clear when riding? My OTTB has a sensitive wither and every so often, my reins touch it and he gets twitchy. I pitch the saddle pad so it’s clear when riding but sometimes my reins will touch or the saddle pad will drop down so I am constantly fixing it to keep them as far off.

If the saddle pad drops, try getting a saddler there to see if the saddle fits properly. The pad shouldnt be dropping with a properly fitted saddle.

I turn them inside out, and put into the washing machine only one pad at a time with nothing else. If they have lots of hair and are very dirty I do a 1hr cycle and if they are not that dirty I do a half hour cycle. I should add I wash my pads after every single use. They come out looking brand new!

I use a cool silicone hair remover brush after every ride! Helps remove the smelly hair and dry the sweat. I have so many PSOS pads that I rarely wash them 😂
