I‘ve been riding my older mare with a combination of a bit and a bitless bridle for a few years now and I am still nit sure, if this is the best option? What do you use and why?

I love bitless! As long as it is without shanks. My boy Roni has been 100% bitless for the last 6 years and before that, I used to jump him in a headcollar. I'm slowly transitioning my other horse Draco towards bitless, but he is quite a nervous horse
