Hey y’all! I been struggling with my 3 year old mustang with lounging him. I am open to suggestions and tips!! 😊 He is very sensitive and can get sticky especially on the right lead! Thank you!!😁

@Ella N then slow it down get him to do 1 or 2 rounds at walk an whoa him or pull him in and rewards him with affection and step back to you position do this several times . Then maybe next session ask him to trot it start with one or two laps and reward. I normally do 20 laps total on each side . You horse is trying to process what you're telling him but you're speaking to fast . Use low energy with your body language the goal is communication and trust not frustration . Remember he can hear your heart beating. Make it a goal to do 2 laps rewards, rest for 2 min and then send him off again at walk for two more , reward, 2 min rest he will understand the new game sooner than you think . Perhaps the next day you can up it to 4 then maybe back down to 2 rounds but at trot
