As some of us have senior horses , I would like to know if you had sometimes faced to a loss of weight for your senior horses and how you succeed them to recover . This is the first winter mine is loosing quite substantial weight , for the vet and for the osteopath it is not scary and they prefer to see him slim than too fat, but I would like him to recover a bit as I am worried he reaches a no way back limit . Should I give him some linseed oil? Prebiotics?

Hey everyone ! Here we have the blood tests results , the diagnostic intends to point out a really early stage of cushing , and Nevel will start his medical routine from tomorrow, we have a good hope to stabilize his glucose and proteins levels (which were not scary) . Beside that the other figures in the analysis are good and normal. Now I have to give him a feed which does not contain any sugar, any starch and which is rich in proteins. I am on a good way to find the appropriate feed with hypona swiss brand. I keep my fingers crossed Nevel will accept the pill without any side effects and he will keep his daily playful mood !
