After falling and breaking one of my helmets, I started to investigate the safest helmets to replace it. To my surprise, the safest helmets are those that have the MIPS system, which none of the most famous brand such as KEP, Samshield and LAS have. Researching a bit more, I have found MIPS inside some Charles Owen, One K, Tipperary, Uvex, Back on track. This really shocked me. Why don't the most famous brands include this? What are your thoughts? I now have a Charles Owen that I've had since February and a One K in my basket that I will be purchasing today!

Once I realized the pros of MIPS for bicycle helmets, I've made sure my daughter has a MIPS riding helmet as well. Currently she wears an Uvex.

To update, I got my UVEX with MIPS (performed highly in both major studies) and it's perfect for schooling. Lots of ventilation and it's comfortable. I'll be getting a CO again but I want to look at the different models again now that there's a new one.
