We have been struggling with the saddles and it’s fitting but it seems like our problems are sold! Here is a few tipps from us which could also help you: -Find a reliable saddle fitter (who can come out within 1-2 week if necessary) + plus point if she/ he sells saddles too -Learn how to approximately fit the saddle and check it at least once a week -When the first signs that the saddle is not good / not fitting correctly (for example white hairs appear) do not use it! -When your horse lose/gain weight or muscle it’s worth checking out! -Own multiple kind of pads (sheepskin , gel etc.) , it can solve the smaller problems! -Trust your guts!!!!The problem not always visible, often it can only be felt! another saddle fitting tip: try get a half pad (stay clear of gel pads) that has interchangeable padding, that was you can move the padding around, add some where needed and take some away where needed as the horses topline develops or declines. Another common occurance... horses might be more developed on one side of their back then the other, so the saddle tends to "lean" slightly more to one side, having interchangable half pads you can level out the back, making the saddle sit straight and in the middle of the back
