Girths
Hi everyone, I hope you can help me with this question. I’m searching for a new girth for my horse. Now I have a back on track girth, a simple straight one without elastic. But I have the feeling my horse would be more comfortable with an anatomic girth that is fitting for his body type. I like to get a lot of opinions before I make a decision. One saddle fitter told me a simple straight girth without elastic would be the best, but another one told me an anatomic one with a “banana” shape would be better for him What are your opinions on this? And do you guys prefer a girth with or without elastic? I read that without elastic the pressure is more evenly distributed and that the saddle will be more in balance. But there are also other people who write that there is more room for the movement of the horse with an elastic. I will add a few pictures of my horse so you can see his build.
