I found a series of videos on YouTube with exercises designed for equestrians. It is by @horselearnerfitness. It has a little bit of everything, HIIT, stretching, etc.

I basically took a year off riding when I moved countries (I rode here and there by training some people’s horses) but for the most part I didn’t ride. I found taking your first rides back by just walking, so some posting in a walk etc just to get your muscle memory back up and running again. Always do some sort of warmup for your hips and calves to make your seat easier to sit properly
