Hey Collective gang, Would love to get to know what everybody does, loves, etc. outside of horses! Its always super cool to see how others spend their time when not with horses & support their riding habit. I’ve met some absolutely awesome people in the equestrian community who have the coolest backgrounds! For me, I’m a cybersecurity analyst at a large payment processing & financial software company (that you probably didn’t even know you were using when shopping online!). I graduated in 2021 from a small liberal arts college in Vermont with a degree in Computer Networking & Cybersecurity, with a minor in Digital Forensics. I briefly was a threat analyst at a Vermont cybersecurity company before moving into my current role at the end of 2021. I took an on-off hiatus from riding for school, only riding when home on breaks. I was able to get back into it in June of 2021 while in VT with such a great barn and amazing lease horse! I’m originally from NJ and moved to VT for college in 2017, and only recently relocated to the San Francisco bay area in 2022! When I’m not horsing around, I’m usually playing PC games, reading, hiking, *attempting* to garden on my patio, hanging out with my two kitties, birdwatching, skiing, watching F1 & IndyCar, or biking! I’ve been out of the show ring since 2017 but am excited to eventually get back to it. For now, I’m focusing on getting finances under control so I can fuel the horse habit even more and working on my career. I currently ride 1-2 times a week with an amazing barn in the bay area 🐴 Def drop below a bit about yourself if you’d like!

Hi Collective, enjoying interacting with you all through this platform. I am a USA Army officer, mother, and wife. I have lived all over the world, served three tours in Afghanistan, and now live in the American southwest. I’m researching options for my second career which I’ll start in a couple years. Second career or just dedicate all that extra time to my horses and family?! 🤷🏻‍♀️

I am currently the mom of my son who is 15 and probably the mom of my horse who is 23 soon 😂. I have been head of purchasing for an international wholesaler in the tourism industry for some years, concretely negotiating with 4&5 stars hotels chains to negotiate a huge number of roomnights 1 year in advance and to interact with worldwide sales offices according to their needs. Have been travelling especially in Japan then in Thailand, and everywhere we had new markets développement. I have stopped my career when my son at 2 years old started to show some behavior troubles , we succeed to have a diagnose when he was 6 and he has been diagnosed with autisme. Hopefully I could have plenty of time to devote to his routine and support him as much as I can with no stress and with a lot of care. Now he is 15 and he is 100% like a normal person , he is autonom and can have normal relationships with the others. My mum’s job is not finished yet , as long we have children we are still parents !
