Ear size on bonnets

Does anyone have any feedback on the size of the ears on the bonnets? I've never actually purchased one as I don't normally ride in them. One of my mares seems very annoyed with the flies lately though, so I was thinking of ordering one. I see they only come in full/cob - anyone with a 17hh horse with full ears (they aren't donkey sized but they are fitting to her size!)? She was XF / size 4 in bridles. I know they have elastic but that seems like it would be annoying if they were tight.
