Broken Rein ideas?
Totally not mad but, I let my trainer use my bridle and favorite reins with a student because they fit the student and the horse better. Due to the students inexperience, unfortunately my favorite buttery soft perfect braided jump reins got broken when the horse stepped on them. Not mad, the student's learning and made a mistake.
Id rather not throw them out just yet, but with about a foot of leather missing, theyll only fit a pony or mini. Any ideas on how to repurpose them? Feels a waste to just toss them.
Pic of the "offending" horse looking dorky but cute in his flysheet. Ive forgiven him since both the student and I had a great ride.
