Broken reigns

Anybody else ever had this problem ? My reigns broke yesterday during a fall … i had the reigns maybe a year, maybe less.

It s better to broke the rains than Your horse’s mouth. Good quality reins are breaking not to damage the horse. Not only reins, bridle could break, too, if the fall is heavy.(edited)
