Hey everyone, Ive noticed in buy swap resale psos groups that pads routinely washed in a machine get floppy- Im trying to see what tips you guys have to keep them as crisp and new as possible. Right now I lint roll off hair and dirt, and let it sit in the sun with a breeze to keep smell and bacteria down. I know Ill eventually have to wash it- but what's the best way? Hand wash cold? Hose it? What's your tips? Thank you!

I remove the hair first. Then I do a hand wash, mostly spot removal, soaking the pad good and all that. After that I put it into my washer for a rinse and spin cycle on very very low temp and spins. That usually lasts for couple of minutes, so it does not do much damage, but cleans it nicely. Then I just air dry

I cold wash (front loader), but I’m tempted to try the upholstery attachment for my hoover carpet shampooer (it does say “pet” on it 🤣)
