Update!
I just received my replacement browband, and it looks great. I don't see any loose stones or bent chain on it. Thank you to Lea and Elsa for your amazing customer service! I feel comfortable ordering one in the future since this was resolved so quickly and helpfully.
I received my new Pearl Browband last week and sadly it was already missing a stone. I popped it back in, but one of the tines broke while doing it. I hadn't even gotten to use it yet! Looking at it closely, several of the stones have "open" or not totally secure chains.
The positives are that it is gorgeous - very shiny and nice stones. The leather is thick and high quality, with nicely burnished edges and padded back. The snaps are heavy duty and the thoughtful rubber to keep the browband up is nice.
I feel like the leather will hold up forever, but I do not have high confidence in the stones 😢 I did send an email to PS, so we'll see what they say. The little white stones are the easiest to replace, but if the chain tines break so easily, it's harder to fix.
I was a little disappointed, since this is my first new PS browband (outside of bridle purchases).
I was wondering if you use Hedda bags to store your beautiful equestrian collections for your horse? I keep entire color-coordinated sets in them, which allows me to quickly and easily choose the set of the day without wasting time assembling it in the tack room. I just add my helmet and whip and I can head to the horse. Do you practice such solutions?😀
