Fleece Rug is absolutely amazing quality & so durable!
Thank you so much PSoS for selecting me to test! I appreciate it and wanted to make sure I took the time to really inspect this and try it out.
I got the 145cm which fits PERFECTLY on a stock horse thats about 15-16h. For those with stock breeds or broader shoulders, I really do like how it fit around the shoulder and had some room. The padded collar to prevent rubbing and add a little flair was such a fantastic idea. I’ve encountered many horses that need to wear some sort of protection around their neck and chest due to the chaffing, but this collar appears to solve it by providing padding while also not being too clunky.
The straps were easy to adjust and well placed. You could use this to throw over tack at a show or have on in the stall with just a quick adjustment to make sure they were not too tight or too loose. I often struggle with some straps, especially after they have some wear and tear on them, but these are simple and easy to use.
The detachable straps are super nice too! I love that where they attach on the blanket isn't super dangly either, and stays close to the rug. I know many blankets, sheets, and coolers often have dangly attachment pieces which pose a safety threat. I think not only is this aesthetically a good choice, but also is a unique safety feature.
The material itself is incredibly high quality, which really impressed me. Most rugs I’ve used are pretty thin or cheap, resulting in rips and tears. This rug looks like it can take a beating!
The branding is not too in your face and is super stylish and simplistic. The “PS of Sweden” across the top is a cute touch!
I highly recommend this to anybody in the market for a cooler, rug, etc. In the future, I’d love to see more size variations so ponies can partake and larger drafts or draft crosses.
It would also be amazing to see a scrim version of this and other rug material, such as waffle! Additional color combinations in the future would be quite a hit as well!
