Beige for Buckskin: It Works!

I put together a monochromatic outfit in beige tones to coordinate with my buckskin Lusitano. My barn mates loved the clean look. I was in beige top and breeches with a champagne saddle pad, all matching my horse's body color. I used white horse boots and white on the browband as accent touches. With my black boots and helmet, plus my horse's black mane, tail and legs, the overall effect was a lovely tricolor play of neutrals. I don't think it would have worked as well if I had used black or beige boots on his legs. That would have been bicolor only.
