I'm currently riding a quite large warmblood. I was looking to get him a new dressage bridle as an upgrade and was wondering if any one of you has any preferences on the bridles below? Also what size bridle did you get for your horse?

Does anybody else bribe themselves to do something big with the promise of a PSoS shopping spree once its done?! I have to pass my Offensive Security Defense Analyst (OSDA) cert by the end of the year for work. Its a 24 hour long proctored exam with a 48 hour window to write a report on findings 😭 Bribing myself with a sweet PSoS spree once its done LOL

Yesterday evening Orylle got a nice cold shower to combat the hot temperatures. It finally rained here in the evening and now it has cooled down a bit.

Not a picture with a horse.. but now with my other love of my life.. my little four legged friend, Brutus. I love this picture so much, I’m going to hang this one in my garden, on a big scale 😍 So I can remember myself to seize the day, every day 💕
Enjoy summer nights at the beach with my little friend

I was wondering how often your horse have a dental checks? In my country more and more people are aware that equestrian dentist it's not something luxury but mandatory visit. Unfortunatelly there are still many horses that never had teeth check in entire life and suffer quietly due to jaw problems. My horse doesn' t have a lot of issues with mouth, so correction once a year is enough. And how is in your case? Share your story!

Yesterday it was so warm here that we only go into the field. What do you do with your horse when it's over 33 degrees celsius?

Let me preface this with , my horse wasn't having it he buddy sour and it was feeding time. I was instructed for my saddle fitting to plaster my horses back Vs using the wire method. Okay , i am crafty I think I can do this. First I used stick and peel paper that you use for wrapping food . I stuck it to his back. So I could lay the wet plastic gauze over it 2.) Get gauze from Amazon that is already coated in plaster of Paris. 3.) wet gauze and start laying it on his back over the stick and peel so the horse will not be covered in plaster ! Side Note: I will be covered in plaster as will the barn walls , floor and areas at least 10 feet away 4.) Fight relentlessly with the gauze and trying to find the start of the slimy roll and cause a huge mess 5.) Be hopeful my said mold is enough to satisfy saddle maker. 6,) take mold off after 10 to 15 min and set aside 7.) All said and done it works ! I have an exact replicate of my horses back for a fitting 8.) leave mess and clean up for the morning. 9.) i have to put it back on him and get a level and make a Level line across the side and also mark the center of the withers on the mold.
Oh the joy of trying to plastering your horse for a saddle fitting !
