Shoe Goo for the win
You might remember when I asked two weeks ago about a small tear in my boots. Did a little googling and discovered Shoe Goo.
With a little precision, smoothing out the separated leather, and a wet finger, I was able to successfully patch this small tear!
My boots are going on 8 years old and they are my first and only pair of proper dressage boots. Theyโve started to show their age with the dye on the foot not sticking anymore, small little tears in the piping, and a gusset put in since Iโm no longer 15 ๐ but a little Shoe Goo, LOTS of conditioner (they were thirsty ๐ฌ), and some polish, they clean up quite well. Theyโre currently soaking up some polish before our lesson tomorrow.
If anybody has any tips for the dye not holding on the foot (photo in the last of the slides), for sure let me know!
