During one of the competitions or just in the gallery, somebody posted about how they restored a saddle. Whoever it was, you gave me the idea to try my hand at that! I picked up this saddle off eBay for $100, not even knowing if the tree was intact. Turns out, its in great condition minus the saddle looking beat up and was dry. After a TON of oiling, deglazing the original finish, redying, and conditioning, it looks like a brand new saddle! I’m waiting on some sealant in the mail and leather paint. Going to refill and paint over the accent along the seat and then try my hand at fixing some of the stitching

@TinaM i think black is a bit easier which makes a ton of sense! This ones a Jorge Canaves, unfortunately didn’t have a serial number or model number on it so not sure of the mosel
