Mending athletic tops

Has anybody had success trying to mend a hole in a base layer/athletic top? My fav top has had this hole for a bit :(

I would suggest to take it to a sewing shop. There are specialized in repairing difficult things :)

I would turn it inside out, pull out together and sew it in a line. If it's butter than a few mm, I'd patch, but with this size I think you can do it no problem. Just use a thin needle to not make too big if a hole for the thread
